Assalamualaikum.

Hi everyone. I am proud that I am able to complete my writing for year 2014. Alhamdulillah, everything was a breeze. Even though I find myself forgetting about some details of the trip. That means, I have to re-visit a lot of itinerary made during that time. I just came back from Kuching and yes, there are more travel post pending since March this year! Besides, I do not want to overload any of you. But for those who are waiting for Malaysia's island insight or Euro-Asian adventure or information on travelling to the Kangaroo's land, bear with me! I will try to publish at least 1-2 post per week.

I was writing my first trip of 2015, which was my Umrah trip (here), as usual I open up my iPhoto to extract my pictures - where I usually store my trip pictures; it was not there. I keep calm and open my iPhoto in my Macbook and it was not there either. I usually shared a photo or two for my trip so getting from the social media database is no help either. I was wondering where did all of this picture go?

Then it hit me. I stored it solely in my phone and I might have accidentally delete the whole folder when the storage insufficient error keeps on popping up on my phone. NO! I thought I had saved it in my iPhoto but that just proved it being otherwise. I was bumped. That is why my previous post has no photos. The photos I get was from Ibu's phone which I managed to transfer bit by bit. Nevertheless, the photos were lost.

I read from this blog on how to recover deleted photos from your SD card. I did all the steps, but the result is not what I hoped for. Perhaps I stored in in the device memory instead. I just have to use with what I have in hand. This is a lesson learnt definitely. I will make sure I have at least 2 backups for my trips' photos.

If you read in the My travel Essentials page, I mentioned that my favourite camera is Olympus TG-850. Well, my camera is in Olympus HQ now because it fails to turn on. It happened during my Redang Trip (the post is coming). I did open and check to see if there is water damaged but the inside was dry. Well, the guy at the store promise me that I would here some answer within 3-4 weeks.

I am still praying that I do not have to chuck this camera out again after what happen to my Sony in Lombok and I do hope any damage is repairable and covered by the warranty.
